From January through March of this year, we were privileged to feature Cameron James Smith in our "New Artist Showcase."

Home has a way of staying with us, no matter the distance from where we started. It lingers in our minds and hearts, a constant presence. Cameron James Smith's debut single, "This Heart Belongs in Texas," is a tribute to his West Texas roots and the unique aspects of home that are dear to him.   And, unlike other artists, Cameron James Smith has stayed close to his roots.  We feel more than ever that he is "destined to become a classic" in Country Music.

 His debut single, while deeply personal, has resonated with a wide audience, demonstrating its universal appeal. Smith's intention was for listeners to see themselves in his song, and it appears he has succeeded.

 Since the showcase, Cameron James Smith has been performing tirelessly in his hometown and the surrounding regions. Watch out, this young man is about to go nation-wide; we can feel it in our bones!
