Keeping with tradition, Alabama’s Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry will treat their fans to various events including Gentry’s ‘Singing with the Stars’ Talent Contest, The Buffalo Nickel Coin Show, and two June Jam Songwriters Showcases and Owen’s Fandemonium at the Farm. The the Cook Castle Brunch Benefiting the Jeff and Lisa Cook Foundation, will not be held this year. “Our Fan Appreciation Weekend is designed around our true fans,” says Owen. “They can come to our hometown and spend a few days with us thanking them for over 50 years of support.” “This is my favorite weekend of the year to spend time with the best fans in the world, all happening where we grew up,” adds Gentry.

So, Noah Thompson, born on April 18, 2002, in Huntington, West Virginia, is this amazing American singer who won the twentieth season of American Idol. He grew up in Louisa, Kentucky, and went to Lawrence County High School. Before his big break, he was working as a construction worker.

Noah didn’t plan on auditioning for American Idol at all. It was actually his friend, Arthur, who signed him up for the show. Can you believe that? Talk about a life-changing surprise! On his YouTube channel, Noah used to cover songs and even performed some of his originals like “Not a Phase,” “Pedestal,” and “Heart Painted Black.”
