A Big Ol’ Thank You to Our Loyal Listeners

Howdy, y’all! The 48-hour special broadcast of "Randy Owen & Friends Christmas Songs 2024" on Redneck Junction Radio was nothing short of magical, and it’s all thanks to our amazing listeners. Now, our fancy software doesn’t spill the exact beans on where y’all are tuning in from, but it does give us a peek into who’s streaming our festive tunes. Here’s a lil’ snapshot of the heartwarming support we received during this special event.

At midnight on Christmas night, 68 devoted fans remained, maintaining the spirit. They are truly commendable. final song performed by Randy Owen was "Angels Among Us," which was selected to best express our feelings towards all of his fans.

Among these troopers, we had two die-hard listeners who stayed online for the entire two-day shindig. These dedicated souls, hailing from Washington, D.C., and Chattanooga, TN, are businesses that use Redneck Junction Radio as their 24-hour background music; one is a truck stop and the other is a off-brand Waffle House diner--just our kind of place. Lol . That’s right, they use our Country Classic  tunes to get thru their daily grind!

As the program wound down, we had two listeners in Germany who stuck around. One of ’em is a young man in his 20s, stationed at Panzer Kaserne Marine Corps Base in Boeblingen, Germany. He’s an Alabama native who’s turned his best friend from Ohio into a devout Randy Owen fan. They listen to Redneck Junction every day!

Throughout the 48-hour broadcast, a whopping 7,754 listeners tuned in from 35 different cities in the United States and 29 countries around the globe, stayin’ online for over an hour. This incredible turnout shows just how far Randy Owen’s Christmas tunes reach and how much love y’all have for his music. During the same period, only 93 listeners decided Randy’s Christmas music wasn’t their cup of eggnog. We like to think there’s only one Scrooge out there, so the other 92 probably had more pressing things to do, like washing’ up all the dirty dishes leftover from their Christmas feast and couldn’t stay online longer. Lol.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this special event a hootin’ success. Your support means the world to us, and we look forward to bringing you more unforgettable moments in the future. Wishing y’all the merriest Christmas and the happiest New Year ever!

Y’all come back now, ya hear?
We love you!
