An Act to Require Timely Display of Alabama Band Fan Club Apparel by Moderators of Mountain Music Memories

Preamble

Whereas the spirit of fellowship, fandom, and photographic evidence strengthens the bonds of the Mountain Music Memories community, be it enacted that moderators shall publicly display their new Alabama Band Fan Club tee shirts in a timely and verifiable manner.

Section 1 Requirement

1. Who — All persons holding the title of Moderator within the Mountain Music Memories group.
2. What — Post a clear, identifiable photograph of themselves wearing the new Alabama Band Fan Club tee shirt.
3. When — Within 24 hours of the tee shirt’s documented arrival to the moderator.
4. Where — The photograph must be posted to the Mountain Music Memories group in a visible thread designated for tee‑shirt arrivals.
5. How — The photograph must show the moderator’s face and the tee shirt; minor photo filters are permitted so long as the tee shirt remains clearly recognizable.

Section 2 Enforcement

1. Reporting — Any group member may report a suspected noncompliance to the Moderator Review Panel.
2. Verification — The Panel shall verify the arrival time and the timestamp of the posted photograph.
3. Notice — A single written notice of noncompliance shall be issued before penalties are applied.

Section 3 Penalties for Noncompliance

Failure to comply with the letter of this Act shall result in one or more of the following humorous penalties, applied in escalating order:

• First Offense — Publicly post a haiku about the virtues of punctuality and the superior taste of Alabama Band tee shirts.
• Second Offense — Temporarily change the moderator’s profile banner to a tasteful collage of vintage concert ticket stubs for seven days.
• Third Offense — Host a 15‑minute live session in the group titled “Confessions of a Late Tee Shirt Recipient,” during which the moderator must play one Alabama song and answer three fan questions.
• Fourth Offense — Provide a small, group‑approved snack for the next in‑person meetup (or mail a snack pack to a randomly selected member if no meetup is scheduled).
• Repeat or Egregious Offenses — Temporary reassignment of moderator privileges for a period determined by the Panel, accompanied by a ceremonial, lighthearted “Apology Post” in rhyme.

All penalties shall be administered with good humor and respect for personal circumstances.

Section 4 Special Penalties for Moderators Residing in South Carolina

In recognition of regional rivalry and for purely comedic effect, moderators whose primary residence is in South Carolina shall, upon noncompliance, receive one additional regional penalty selected by the Panel:

• Sweet Tea Duty — Brew and post a short video tutorial on how to make the moderator’s favorite sweet tea recipe, captioned with a sincere pledge to be more punctual.
• Two‑Step Challenge — Post a 30‑second clip attempting a Carolina two‑step (no professional skill required; enthusiasm preferred).
• Palmetto Pride Post — Share a photo of themselves wearing the tee shirt alongside a small palmetto or other locally meaningful prop, with a caption celebrating interstate fandom.

These special penalties are intended to be playful, not punitive, and may be waived or modified for health, safety, or logistical reasons.

Section 5 Miscellaneous

• Appeals — Moderators may submit a brief appeal to the Panel within 72 hours of notice; the Panel shall rule within seven days.
• Good Faith Exceptions — Delays caused by shipping errors, medical emergencies, or other verifiable hardships shall be excused at the Panel’s discretion.
• Effective Date — This Act shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Mountain Music Memories Moderator Review Panel.
